Town Dyer yarns are dyed in West London with foraged materials I collect from parks, fields and riversides nearby. I also grow a variety of dye plants in my small garden. Some materials, like madder and indigo are purchased from dye suppliers. I always dye with fresh or dried plants and try and use plants that are in season.
I dye a variety of bases sourced from the UK, Germany and Finland. All yarns are dyed in small batches and each skein is unique.
Selling my yarns is a way of spreading my love for plants as well as funding my ever-growing love for them.
Soon you can also buy my yarns via my shop where I add smaller quantities of yarns and special bases.
